Bengaluru, April 17: Homegrown ride-hailing firm Namma Yatri on Tuesday launched its cab services in Bengaluru, claiming to be the first ride aggregator to follow the new fares set by the state government.
The Bengaluru-based firm promises a lifetime zero-commission, direct-to-driver model similar to its popular auto-rickshaw ride service. The cab service was formally launched on Tuesday.
Cab service is available in four categories. Non-AC Mini, AC Mini, Sedan and XL Cab. Our Yatri, Nan-AC mini cab aims to solve the misunderstanding between drivers and customers about the use of AC.
The app introduces inter city, rentals and scheduled rides. Also expanding to other cities of Karnataka. It also offers special services such as disability friendly riders, extra luggage, travel and trips to public pet transportation centers.

Cab drivers using our Yatri app will not be charged for the next six months. From October 1, they will pay a flat subscription fee of Rs 90 per day irrespective of the number of rides. Our Yatri said that more than 25,000 cab drivers have joined the app. The organization hopes to serve one lakh cab drivers in the next six months.
