BJP has dropped compilation of National Register of Citizens (NRC) from its manifesto released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 14. The NRC was one of the key election promises in the party's 2019 manifesto. However, the 2024 manifesto refers to “implementation of the CAA”.
