On this day most theaters across the country offer tickets for just Rs. 75. The second edition of National Cinema Day was celebrated on October 13, 2023, when tickets were priced at Rs. 99. Meanwhile, multiplex series came up with Cinema Lover’s Day on January 20, 2023. Its second edition was celebrated earlier this year on February 23 and it helped theaters register healthy footfalls. It was a day Article 370 And Crack released, and both these films were profitable. The next Valentine’s Day was expected to be held in 2025. However, the show has given viewers joy. They have decided to celebrate Cinema Lovers’ Day again on this Friday, April 19.

A trade source said, “The major releases are Dibakar Banerjee’s bold thriller Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 and the Vidya Balan-Prateek Gandhi-Ileana D’Cruz-Sendhil Ramamurthy starrer romcom, Do aur do pyar. Both these films will benefit. Two other new releases, semi-animated Love you Shankar and a Hollywood dystopian thriller Civil war Now attracts more audience.
The source continued, “Eid releases, Bade Mian Chote Mian And Maidan, did not work. But viewers can watch these movies for Rs. 99 on April 19. Like other holding images Madgaon Express, Staff And Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is already doing well, and this offer will increase their steps this Friday.
General seats cost Rs. 99, recliners and movies playing in special formats like 3D, IMAX, 4DX etc. will be available for Rs. 199.
