This elaborate ceremony, performed in the afternoon, involved a sophisticated arrangement of mirrors and lenses in the temple premises. A team of dedicated scientists commissioned by the temple trust orchestrated this miracle of precision and devotion, directing a beam of sunlight on the forehead of the idol.
