But today’s sworn enemies were once upon a time best friends. After the allegations of Samajwadi Party MLA Abhay Singh, discussions about the enmity between Abhay Singh and Dhananjay Singh have started again. But there used to be a time when these two Bahubali were friends of each other. Talking about the enmity between Abhay and Dhananjay, senior journalist Naval Kant Sinha says that today the story of each other’s known enemies Abhay Singh and Dhananjay Singh is like the plot of a Bollywood film.

Abhay and Dhananjay used to swear on friendship

Naval Kant Sinha had written a book named ‘Maut Mafia aur Siasat’ in the year 2004. This book, written years ago on the mafia and politics of Eastern Uttar Pradesh, tells the entire story of Abhay and Dhananjay from their friendship to their becoming sworn enemies. According to the book, there was a time when Abhay and Dhananjay were sworn in as friends in Lucknow University. Abhay and Dhananjay had enmity with Ajay Kumar Singh regarding student politics. This enmity was so deep that a series of murders started from the university campus to the capital. Due to this incident, many mothers lost their sons, many students who came to study in Lucknow University for the sake of career became criminals. In the end Ajay Kumar Singh was murdered. Ajay Singh lived in Habibullah Hostel of LU.

After the end of the relationship, Abhay-Dhananjay became known enemies.

Ajay Kumar Singh and Anil Singh Veeru used to be very close friends. Anil is the leader of SP. Both Abhay and Dhananjay Singh were very close friends when Arun Upadhyay was contesting the student union elections. But later gradually the distance between Abhay and Dhananjay increased, there was discord and then the relationship ended. After this, a period of enmity started between the two.

Naval Kant Sinha writes that both of them had a group of students who could sacrifice their lives for them and, if necessary, take someone’s life. Suddenly a competition had started between the two to capture the ‘Empire of Dum and Daam’. From here both of them started trying to show themselves more powerful than each other.

Dhananjay had become MLA in the very first election, Abhay got defeated.

The competition that started between the two from Lucknow spread to their respective areas. Due to political ambitions, both of them had adopted all the tricks to become popular in their respective areas. Both also jumped into the great battle of assembly elections. In the year 2002, Abhay Singh had contested for the assembly from Faizabad on Bahujan Samaj Party ticket. Dhananjay Singh had contested the elections from Rari area of ​​Jaunpur on Lok Janshakti Party ticket. In this, Dhananjay Singh was elected to the assembly but Abhay Singh had to face defeat. After that the bitterness and animosity between the two increased further.

The enmity between the two had increased after the attack on Dhananjay.

It is said that on September 4, 2002, Abhay Singh group had attacked Dhananjay Singh’s car in Nadesar area of ​​Varanasi. But Dhananjay Singh survived that attack. Dhananjay Singh had also accused Abhay Singh regarding this attack. A report was also lodged. After this attack, enmity grew between the two. Both kept showing strength to each other from Purvanchal to Lucknow.

One got the protection of Raja Bhaiya, the other with the support of Mukhtar.

During this time, sometimes one person would have the upper hand and sometimes the other would have the upper hand. After becoming MLA, Dhananjay Singh’s status had become bigger. His stature became bigger due to the patronage of Raja Bhaiya. On the other hand, Abhay Singh had also increased his power by coming closer to Mukhtar Ansari. After the murder of BJP MLA Krishna Nand Rai, there was a phone conversation between Mukhtar Ansari and Abhay Singh. Its audio also went viral on social media. Abhay Singh had relations with Mukhtar Ansari.

Dhananjay Singh lodged in Bareilly jail may come out soon

At present, amid the 2024 election battle, all eyes are on Dhananjay Singh after the allegations by SP MLA Abhay Singh. Dhananjay Singh is currently lodged in Bareilly jail. But he has got bail from the High Court. In such a situation, it is believed that Dhananjay Singh may soon come out of jail. While on one hand the political temperature of Jaunpur is likely to rise as soon as Dhananjay comes out, on the other hand Dhananjay can also react to Abhay Singh’s allegations.

At present, Dhananjay Singh’s wife Srikala Reddy is holding the front. She is continuously retaliating on Abhay Singh’s statements. Describing the threat to her husband Dhananjay Singh’s life, Srikala Reddy has also mentioned the attack on Dhananjay Singh with AK-47. After this attack, the enmity between friend-turned-enemy Abhay Singh and Dhananjay Singh had escalated. On the other hand, Abhay Singh has also given his clarification on these allegations.
