New Delhi (A.02) In an interview with political strategist Prashant Kishore expressed his opinion about the chances of Bharatiya Janata Party winning, the chances of getting 370 seats out of 543 Lok Sabha seats are very low.
If the BJP wins 370 Lok Sabha seats alone, it will be an adventure, because if we look at the current situation, the chances of BJP winning 370 seats alone are very low, zero.
Adding 370 seats is difficult
As political strategy dictates, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has suggested that its organization can be further reformed.
He said the party could easily add 10-20 seats, adding that it was unlikely that the party would add 70 additional seats on its own. (Party won 303 seats in 2019 elections)
What is the mental preparation of BJP?
Prashant Kishore mentioned that the calculation of 370 set by the BJP is a part of the party's mental preparation, using the people's stand as a dice to win so many seats.
He said that what kind of mind game has been played here is whether BJP-NDA will win or lose versus whether BJP will get 370 seats or not.
According to his calculations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced in Parliament that he will win 370 seats, even his critics say that it is achievable when Modi himself says so.
But not the real thing. Kishore said it is not that easy for BJP to win 370 seats on its own which means it is close to zero.
Nitish Kumar has been reinstated in NDA
BJP dealt a psychological blow to the opposition by bringing back Bihar Chief Minister and Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar to the NDA without any gains for the BJP in Bihar.
BJP has not inducted Nitish Kumar into the party because of the choice to win seats in Bihar. Also, BJP will not make any big gains in Bihar Lok Sabha or Assembly elections.
After bringing Nitish Kumar into the party, its number of seats has decreased as he needs to win the election in less number of seats.

But from a political point of view, the party saw Nitish as a strength and Prashant said that by inducting Nitish into his party, the opposition was dealt a severe psychological blow.
BJP has calculated and decided
Prashant mentioned that the BJP's numbers will decrease due to Nitish Kumar's re-entry into the NDA and said that the BJP will know the price in the assembly elections.
But this choice had to be made by the BJP, who knew they had to win the war.
He recalled that the country had seen large governments comprising more than 400 MPs, and the Congress once held 2500 MLAs out of 4,000 MLA seats. BJP has around 1500-1600 MLAs at the top
Polling for the Lok Sabha elections will be held on April 19, the election will be held in seven phases, and the results will be declared on June 4.
