Taylor Swift’s latest album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’

Taylor Swift released her highly anticipated record Section of Tortured Poets – the megastar’s 11th studio album, already reeling from the triumphant global success of The Eras Tour.

Just hours after the drop, Swift surprised fans with a follow-up “secret double album” with 15 additional songs. The extended version of the album, titled, Section on Tortured Poets: An Anthology Now out on music streaming platforms too.

“All’s fair in love and poetry… New album THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT. Out now,” he wrote on his Instagram account as the album drops at 12AM EST/ 9:30 AM IST.

Swift revealed the album’s release at the Grammys in February, the night that saw it 34 year old billionaire Win a record fourth album of the year award. With TTPD’s drop, the artiste could be on track for the fifth spot.

After her bombshell announcement, her army of loyal Swifties have been working around the clock to dispel fans’ predictions. A working theory is that the album is focused on her ex, British actor Joe Alwyn, who Swift dated in 2016 but split about a year ago. Before their breakup, Alvin had many songwriting credits on her albums under the pen name William Bowery.

Her current beau, Super Bowl-winning NFL player Travis Kelce, has already praised her new job. “I’ve heard some of it, yes, and it’s unbelievable,” he told reporters in February. “I can’t wait for her to rock the world when it finally drops.”

After a highly publicized dispute with Big Machine executives over ownership of his first six albums, he made the sly, risky decision to re-record those albums as “Taylor’s Editions” in order to own the rights. It paid off, delighting die-hard fans, bringing new Swifties into the fold and earning her newfound respect in the industry.

Swift has already revealed the tracklist, with titles including “So Long, London,” “I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)” and “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.”

Florence + The Machine is among those set to make guest appearances on the album, as is Post Malone, who Swift said Thursday will appear on her first single, “Fortnite.” “I’m a huge fan of Post because he’s a writer, his musical experimentation and the melodies he creates stick in your head forever,” he wrote on Instagram.

Swift said a video companion for the track will be out late Friday after the album drops, which is 5:30 a.m. Saturday for Indian Swifties.
