“PDA to defeat NDA…”: SP chief Akhilesh Yadav’s big claim at joint press conference with Rahul Gandhi | India News

New Delhi: Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav fired shots at the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at a joint press conference in UP’s Ghaziabad on Wednesday. Akhilesh said PM Modi government has betrayed PDA (Pichde, Dalit and Minority) families and this PDA will defeat NDA.

“PDA is going to defeat NDA. Regarding ‘Parivaravad’, I urge BJP to take a pledge not to field candidates from political families or seek votes from such families… Those who came in 2014 will be gone by 2024.”, Akhilesh addressed the media along with Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi. Speaking said.

Slamming the BJP over the electoral bond scheme, the SP chief accused the ruling party of harboring corrupt politicians. “BJP is the storehouse of all corrupt leaders, they are not only taking corrupt people (into their party) but also keeping the money earned by corrupt people (Chunavana bond nee inka band baja diya…BJP sabhi bhrashtachiroya ka godam ban gayi. ),” Akhilesh said.

India’s alliance represents new hope in the elections, he said. He said that the day farmers start getting fair price for their produce and the Government of India increases farmers’ income, poverty will be reduced.

The SP chief appreciated Rahul’s manifesto and mentioned that his manifesto contains several measures aimed at eradicating poverty. He expressed his belief that all political parties, especially those affiliated to the All India Alliance, are committed to providing Minimum Support Price (MSP) and increasing farmers’ income, which will lead to poverty alleviation.

Sending his greetings to the public on the occasion of Rama Navami, Akhilesh said, “I would like to convey my greetings to everyone on the occasion of Rama Navami.” Seeing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and the Samajwadi Party organizing a joint press conference, he said the Union of India’s objective was to remove the BJP’s influence in Ghaziabad, from Ghaziabad to Ghazipur.

Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh will be held in all seven phases. The Ghaziabad constituency is all set for a triangular contest. The BJP has nominated Atul Garg as its candidate for Ghaziabad after Union Minister and sitting BJP MP General (retd) VK Singh withdrew from the Lok Sabha polls. Garg will be pitted against Bharatiya Mitrikuta candidate and Congress leader Dolly Sharma, while the Bahujan Samaj Party has nominated Nanda Kishore Pundir.
